Centerburg Trojans Varsity put up nine runs in the first on its way to a 16-2 victory over Mt. Gilead on Wednesday. Centerburg Trojans Varsity big bats were led by Dalton Hall, Jackson Goulter, Jarred Rings, Bobby Zendarsky, Brock Hurtt, and Brenden Christy, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Centerburg Trojans Varsity got on the board in the first inning. Hall drove in one when he doubled.
Goulter was credited with the victory for Centerburg Trojans Varsity . He lasted four and a third innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out seven. Tyler Harry threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
